I've been an artist as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite childhood memories revolve around creating art with the amazing artists I am so lucky to call family. There was never a doubt that I would grow up to be a maker. I started making beaded bracelets on a loom in elementary school before transitioning to ceramic pendants. As an adult, I've explored many mediums while pursing my B.F.A. and my M. Ed. I spent time as a photographer and a ceramic artist before finally landing back where it all began, jewelry. I now happily create jewelry in my home studio where my patient husband sits with noise cancelling head phones while I hammer at the anvil or drill on the drill press. It's a noisy life, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
