Artist Behind the Bench
I'm an artist, avid hiker, lover of the ocean, and mom to a wild and free little person. You can often find me with my sketchbook on the beach or hiking the forests with my toddler in tow. A lot of these hikes inspire my work so you could say I'm heavily influenced by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
I've been an artist as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite childhood memories revolve around creating art with the amazing artists I am so lucky to call family. There was never a doubt that I would grow up to be a maker, my apprentice seems to be following in my footsteps.
I started making beaded bracelets on a loom in elementary school before transitioning to ceramic pendants. As an adult, I've explored many mediums. I spent time as a photographer and a ceramic artist before finally landing back where it all began, jewelry. I now happily create jewelry in my home studio located in the gorgeous state of Washington.
